So far, this offers a suggestion of rear suspension. Its hinged mechanism up near the saddle has a chunk of polymer in the middle which absorbs the impacts. I hindsight I really don't need it but every little helps I suppose and on longer rides I imagine it begins to pay its way. I'd say I would only notice it if I went back to riding without it and bog standard seatpost. So far my rides are no more than 25 miles but when I do go further I imagine this will become a fast friend. Bought on Amazon.
