Wood

In Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), the Yin aspect of the wood element is associated with the Liver and the Yang aspect is associated with the Gall Bladder.  One's Liver is a large triangular shaped organ which sits in the right side of the body cavity behind the right ribs.  It's so large that is actually span someway across into the left side of the body.   The Gall Bladder sits upon and extends from the liver.

Negative emotions of anger, rage, hatred, resentment and frustration can adversely affect the liver.
