QiGong's Metal Element
TeaserText

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Yin aspect of the metal element is associated with the Lungs while the Yang aspect is associated with the Large Intestine.  One's Lungs are the two large sack like organs which reside behind and to either side of the breast bone and ribs.  The Large Intestine is a rectangular shaped tube occupying the last 3 feet or thereabouts of the bowels.

Negative emotions of grief, sorrow, sadness, disappointment, depression, guilt and shame can adversely affect the lungs.
